The Rules And Regulations Of Karma

We’ve all heard of karma in its different forms and functions. Karma is viewed as a person’s actions in it’s past existence, that ultimately determines his/her future existence. Karma is energy. I’ve always been a firm believer in “everything happens for a reason”. Whatever energy you release into the universe, is what will come back to you. Karma is a cycle of cause and effect. It is real, and it is powerful.

We All Have A Certain Frequency

It’s your vibe, your aura, your attraction. Call it what you want, but I’ll call it your frequency. We all radiate our own frequency. Those who are constantly dwelling in negativity are examples of people in lower frequencies. Those who are filled with gratitude and self-love are examples of people with higher frequencies. It’s very interesting because if you think about it, those who are of a lower frequency, tend to  vibrate with those of the same frequencies. That’s why we tend to gravitate towards people who are similar to us. When our frequencies are heightened, people of lower frequencies will likely leave our lives, simply because we cannot relate to them anymore. You’ll be surprised the amount of negativity that is rid from your life once you start vibrating at higher frequencies.

Everything In Your Life Is A Result Of The Past

It might be a little daunting to think that everything you do now will ultimately influence your future, but it is something worth really considering. The future is unknown, but your past is not. It’s easier to use our memories as a guide for the future. If you are happy, it’s because of your past actions. If you are miserable, it is because of your past actions. Your past has molded your present, and your present will lead to the future. Giving out positivity will attract positivity back to you. It is why you’ve always been taught to treat others the way you want to be treated.

Here’s a little silly story for you. So way back in the day, the Fab Five (Anna, Geolie, Paula, Jasmine) and I all had Kik before we all had iPhones. We had decided to do this thing called “group rates” where we would have people like an Instagram picture and those who liked it, we would rate from 1-10 on how attractive they were. I know right? How shallow of us. So there we were, rating these boys and girls and most certainly hurting someone’s ego. Evidently, after doing these group rates, all hell broke loose with us within that week. We failed exams, got in trouble with our parents, got kicked out of a meet and greet for one of the ICONic Boyz, that we waited 5 hours for, and a whole other list of unfortunate events. But let me tell you, to this day, all of us just simply remember one thing: Don’t participate in group rates.

3 Little Laws Of Karma

There are many laws of karma but these three are my favorite and what I tend to live by:

  1. The Great Law: This is the simple one. It basically tells us that whatever you put into the universe will always come back to you. That little act of kindness you shared with that stranger, will result in kindness returned back to you.
  2. The Law of Creation: This states that you create your reality. You surround yourself with what you desire, and thus, leading you to make decisions and actions that mold your life.
  3. The Law of Change: History will continue to repeat itself until you learn the lessons necessary to change your path.

Transforming Bad Karma To Good

Make quality choices. With every decision, comes a result. Your choices in life are like building blocks that keep on stacking. Know what is right for you and choose things that will benefit you in the end.

Forgive yourself and others. Holding grudges is an unnecessary weight that you carry around with you. Forgiveness is making peace with the pain within ourselves and letting go to create an opening for love instead of hate. We forgive in order to free ourselves from the bitterness. It is something we do, not for others, but for ourselves.

Practice reflection and gratitude. Appreciate the things you have in life and be thankful. Reflect on your life and the choices you have made. Reflection will help you learn from your mistakes and will help you see the little successes you achieve everyday. It will make you happier and raise your frequency.

Whether you believe in karma or not, it is always important to radiate love and kindness to those around you. You will notice that your life will be filled with more light than darkness. Nothing happens to you, it happens for you.

Ignite your spark,

Thanks for reading, xoxo.
