Can you believe it’s that time of the year again? Fall is personally my favorite season. It’s that perfect sweater weather that really makes you want to just cuddle up in blankets. Or it’s the leaves slowly changing into the most vibrant reds and yellows. Or maybe it’s the time for the holiday’s that really gets you excited.
Fall wouldn’t be complete without these must-have fall activities:
No matter who you are, or how old you may be, it is a fall MUST to go pumpkin picking. Go to your local pumpkin patch and pick out your perfect pumpkin. Don’t forget to gather a bunch of your friends and family and have a pumpkin carving gathering! (Save the pumpkin seeds and bake them!)
If you’re into a little thrill, go on a haunted hayride! Hayrides are so popular this time of the year and it’s always a whole bunch of fun whenever I would go with a bunch of my friends. It’s all fun and games till a zombie jumps up onto the truck and starts growling in your face, right?
I’m a sucker for corn mazes. As much as I love them though, I could never get out on my own, haha… Nothing screams “fall” more than a good ol’ walk through a cornfield!
Whether it’s at a camp ground, or your backyard, camping out under the stars is definitely something to try. The Earth is a beautiful place, so spend a night in the nice crisp weather and enjoy nature! A cool thing you can do is get a heated blanket, and you’ll be having the best sleep ever. Start a bonfire and roast some s’mores!
Try Some Fall Recipes
FOOD!! From hot chocolate, to apple pies, you can get cookin’ in the kitchen and whip up some delicious food! There’s so many fun and creative recipes that are fall themed, and I thought I’d share some of my favorite recipes that I pinned on pinterest! Check them out!
I love shopping, and what I love more, is shopping during the fall. Hoodies, sweaters, boots and scarves are my fall must-haves! Don’t miss out on deals during Black Friday, because I know I won’t! Get comfy and cozy, in style. There’s so many deals during this time of the year, especially for candles!
Have A Scary Movie Night
It’s the eeriest time of the year, so a scary movie would only make sense! Snuggle up under a blanket and have a night dedicated to some thrill. Pop some popcorn and dim the lights because it’s time to get spooky.
Decorate For Fall
My house is ALWAYS pimped out for the fall. We’ve got pumpkins on the dinner table, spider webs on the bushes outside, and cinnamon scented candles burning day and night. Decorating is always fun, and you can even be creative and make your own decor! Something that I am for sure going to try this fall, is pressing leaves into a frame. You should try it out too!
Go On A Hike
Hiking during this time of the year is great because it’s not scorching hot, but it’s not below zero either. The leaves are changing their colors and it calls for a breathtaking view. Pack some food and a blanket and have a picnic when you’ve reached your destination!
Go On A Road Trip
I’m all about traveling to new places! It doesn’t have to be far either. It could be as simple as a day trip. Experience the world even if it’s only a few miles from home. There’s so many things to do and places to see. Google cool coffee shops or restaurants that you’ve never been to, and take a trip there!
Fall is the season to be in, and I cannot be more excited for it. Do something everyday that makes you feel happy, because you deserve to be! Share this list with your friends and family and get started on these fall festivities! Enjoy these photos of my dog (Wawa the Chihuahua) enjoying the fall season!
Ignite your spark.
